Integrated Prototype Assembly

There were two major challenges in this project.  Challenge number one was cutting and sanding SLS prints to fit the electronic and mechanical assemblies together to make the final prototypes.  Since the product was ergonomically designed, there were many curves and tight spaces which required careful attention to detail.  The major tools used here were an X-ACTO knife and a Dremel.  Challenge number two was mounting the PCB’s onto heated inserts with tiny screws.  The patience to deal with minuscule components and tools is an enormous advantage that ChipKick brought to the table on this project.
